The Tableau server upgrade to 2020.4.9 is complete. If you are a Tableau Desktop user, it is recommended to use version 2020.4.9 and Tableau Prep 2020.4.1 for maximum compatibility. Please follow the links below to download the recommended versions:
Please note that older versions of Desktop and Prep will still be compatible with Tableau Server. If you are having issues with your published workbooks or data sources, please let us know by contacting filling out the contact form.
This new upgrade provides some exciting new features:
- Tableau Prep Builder will be available in the Tableau server browser. Now you will be able to prep your data from whenever you have access to a browser.
- Multiple marks layer support for maps. You will be able to add unlimited marks layers from a single data source to your map visualizations.
- Tableau Prep Builder can now import, recognize, and export spatial data to extracts and published data sources.
- Predictive modeling functions improvements.
