Data Usage Request Process

  • Who can request the data (Faculty, Staff etc)
  • View available data in the Data Warehouse
  • Tools to connect to data:
    • Tableau desktop (Reporting & Analytics)
    • Toad for Oracle SQL (database management toolset from Quest Software that database developers, database administrators, and data analysts)
    • Oracle SQL Developer
  • Firewall to access the data and two factor auth. (Duo) to access the data
  • Get authorization to use data (Form/Request ticket etc.) and approval process from data stewards
