Tableau Server

Tableau server is an online hosting platform to hold all the Tableau workbooks or reports, data sources and more. At Rice, the Tableau server is available in the faculty and staff network to share the workbooks or reports within the Rice community. This means you can use the functionality of Tableau, without needing to always be downloading and opening workbooks or reports. It is also available via VPN from off campus locations.

Tableau server can be accessed via https://dataviz.rice.edu .

Maintenance Windows are on Fridays from 8 pm to midnight.
